Leicester’s Highcross is offering a variety of job opportunities across major brands, including Office Shoes, Wagamama, Starbucks and Superdrug with some roles closing as early as this week. Positions cater to a wide range of skills and experience levels.

Shoe retailer Office is recruiting both an assistant manager and a supervisor for its new Leicester Highcross store, with the supervisor role closing on March 9. Superdrug is also looking for an aesthetic nurse for its clinic, with that position closing on March 8.

Several roles have much earlier deadlines, with positions at Umami World Kitchen closing on February 20 and a beauty therapist role at Therapie Clinic closing on February 22. For the full list, see below.

Office Shoes – Supervisor (Closes: March 9)

About the role: Office is looking for a Supervisor to join its new Leicester Highcross store. You’ll act as a brand ambassador, engaging with customers and driving sales, while supporting store management to inspire, coach and lead the team to deliver excellence.

Office Shoes – Retail Assistant Manager

About the role: Office is seeking an Assistant Manager for its new Leicester Highcross store. As an integral member of the store management team, you will inspire, coach and lead staff while maintaining a leading presence on the sales floor.

Lead and inspire the team to deliver excellence across the store. Apply commercial awareness to read sales reports and identify opportunities for sales growth. Maintain a keen eye for detail and visual merchandising. Work full time with flexible availability across a fast-paced retail environment.

Highcross – Security Officer

About the role: Savills is seeking a Security Officer to assist with the smooth running of the Highcross Shopping Centre. You’ll provide visible security cover, handle customer enquiries, monitor CCTV and control contractor and delivery access to the centre.

Hours: 44.33 hours per week, 4 on 2 off, 07:00-16:00 and 12:00-22:00 shifts. Undertake regular patrols of the centre as instructed by the Centre Manager. Ensure all incidents are recorded in the Incident Log. Candidates must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Highcross – Control Room Assistant

About the role: Savills is also looking for a Control Room Assistant at Highcross Shopping Centre. Working a 4 on 4 off pattern of 08:00-20:00 shifts, with occasional overnight cover, you’ll report into the site’s Duty Controllers and manage the essential functions of the control room.

Hours: Average of 42 hours per week. Pay: £13.64 per hour. Proactively monitor public and landlord areas as part of public safety duties. Manage traffic flow in and out of the centre’s car parks. Candidates must hold a valid SIA CCTV Licence.

Superdrug – Aesthetic Nurse (Closes: March 8)

About the role: Superdrug is recruiting an Aesthetic Nurse for its Leicester clinic, and would also consider an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist for the role. Working 39 hours per week across five days, including alternate Saturdays, you’ll provide personalised consultations, perform injectable treatments and offer aftercare advice.

NMC nurse registration fees are paid in full, alongside a bonus potential of up to 25%. Provide consultations and perform injectable treatments through defined care pathways. Candidates must be a skilled, NMC registered nurse qualified in the use of Botulinum Toxin Type A and Dermal Fillers. The clinic is registered with professional bodies Save Face and JCCP.

Wagamama – Front of House Team Member (Closes: February 28)

About the role: Wagamama is looking for a front of house team member for evenings and weekends at its Highcross restaurant. You’ll play a key role providing a brilliant experience for guests, working alongside a team of over 100 nationalities.

Greet and seat guests on arrival and ensure they feel looked after throughout their visit. Bring the menu to life through recommendations, with a genuine passion for the food. Whether newly qualified or experienced, you’ll join a supportive team providing advanced skin, body and laser treatments but candidates must apply before February 22.

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and set realistic expectations. Actively promote additional services and products to enhance the overall client experience. A Level 3 Beauty qualification or above is required, with laser hair removal experience desired but not essential. Umami World Kitchen – Head Chef and Sous Chef (Closes: February 20)

About the role: Umami World Kitchen, which serves more than 100 dishes from across the globe, is recruiting both a Head Chef and a Sous Chef but both roles close on February 20, giving candidates just days to apply. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, while the Sous Chef will support day-to-day operations and step in for the Head Chef in their absence.
