Barcelona want to sell Jean-Clair Todibo but Leicester City and Everton have both fallen short of his asking price according to reports.
The Catalan giants want to sell the centre-back because Ronald Koeman wants a new defender and will have to sell to make room.
Todibo is now deemed surplus to requirements and was sent on loan to Schalke in January.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have received offers from Leicester and Everton, but they did not meet the 20-year-old’s asking price of €25m.
Barca gave Schalke the option to buy Todibo – who made 10 appearances for the Bundesliga side – but they passed up the opportunity.
Todibo is now reportedly keen on leaving the Nou Camp and Leicester would be an ideal fit with the Foxes in the market for a centre-back.
They are currently trying to strike a deal for St Etienne defender Wesley Fofana, but have yet to reach an agreement on the fee.
And his manager Claude Puel has named him in the squad to face Strasbourg this weekend despite the player himself pleading to be allowed to make his switch to the King Power.
