Concern grows for missing Braunstone man

Concern is growing for the welfare and safety of a Leicester man who was reported missing.

Leicestershire Police were contacted over the wellbeing of Dalton Barrett, 70, who was reported missing from his home in the Braunstone area of the city this morning, Wednesday November 11.

An appeal has now been issued to establish his whereabouts and make sure he is safe and well.

“We are asking for public help to find him,” said a police spokesperson.

“He was reported missing from his home address in the Braunstone area of Leicester shortly before 11am today.

Dalton is described as being black, abound 6ft tall and is bald with a black and grey beard.

The spokesperson said: “We are concerned for Dalton’s welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.

“When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue top, tracksuit bottoms and a black mac coat.”

She added: “He was also wearing a black trilby hat and is believed to have a yellow lanyard around his neck with two keys attached.

“He may be wearing gold-framed glasses and carrying a small brown bag.

Anyone with information is urged to contact officers using the 101 police number.
