HEADLINE ACT – MATT BRAGG

The son of television warm-up man Bobby Bragg, Matt has been performing stand-up all over the country for the last 7 years. With a unique, low energy, deadpan style and meticulously crafted material, he has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences, promoters, and comedians alike.

As well as performing at some of the largest clubs in the UK, he is tour support for Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill, Lloyd Griffith (Soccer AM), Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford, John Bishop, Phoenix Night’s Clinton Baptiste, and Scott Bennett. He was also selected for Just The Tonic’s Big Value showcase at Edinburgh Festival in 2019 and finished runner-up in Leicester Mercury’s Comedian of The Year 2020.

His debut show ‘Matt Bragg has nothing wrong with him’ is previewing throughout 2023.

DOUG CARTER

Doug is a multi-award-winning comedian with over 10 million views on social media.

RUSSELL ARATHOON

Russel’s first gig was at the notorious King Gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. He went on to win it and then followed it up later that year with a semi final appearance in the Manchester Comedian Of The Year Competition.

Now residing in London, Russell is regularly popping up at prestigious clubs such as Top Secret & Up The Creek, as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Joe Lycett, Sean Walsh and even the chatty man himself Alan Carr.

In 2018 Russell made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his critically acclaimed show ‘The Curious Incidents Of The Gay In The Night Time’. Since then Russell has gone on to perform at festivals all over the country including Leicester, Nottingham, Manchester & Brighton. He even appeared on the Glee Cardiff Pride Stage alongside Robert White in 2019.

Russell is a likable act who the audience instantly warms to. With his sharp and cheeky material, Russell is a perfect act for any live audience

SARAH JOHNSON

“Having worked with Sarah for many years at Leicester Comedy Festival I can honestly say she’s one of the best up & coming acts on the circuit” Geoff Rowe, Founding Director, Leicester Comedy Festival

In 2017 she was voted ‘Best Midlands Comedy Breakthrough Act’ as well as receiving a nomination for ‘Best New Show’ at Leicester Comedy Festival.

EDI JOHNSTON

Edi is an award-winning ukulele-playing Musical Comedian from Nottingham, gigging for the last 3 years or so, playing silly songs about mostly mundane things.

He is fresh from a sold-out show at the Nottingham Comedy Festival, having won the Musical Comedy Song of the Season from “Songs in the Key of Laugh” and has developed into someone who can happily open or close a small room gig, or open or middle for bigger venues – as well as holding my own in the middle of Pro shows.

Edi has done paid gigs for NCF, Nodding Dog, Mirth Control and regularly done gigs for Rock Central, Laffa Cake, Late Stage & Sounds Proper Comedy in and around Nottingham. He’s spread his wings a little wider and gigged for various promoters in the North (eg. Gag n Bone, Anthony Brown, Laughienda etc) and looking to develop further within the next few months.
