Leicester One Act Play Festival

The Leicestershire One Act Play Festival featureing amateur groups from in and around Leicestershire. The winner can also progress into the All England One Act Play Festival. This year there are three plays eneter, two from Little Acorns bases in Hinckley and one from The Follish Players based in Market Harborough.

The plays are:

  1. The Extraordinary Revaletions of Orca the Goldifsh …. a comedy by David Tristram.For Henry Smith actor, raconteur, sporting hero, leading socialite, detective, secret agent to name a few of his attributes, life is never boring. For Alice Smith, housewife, life is rarely anything else. Fantasy blurs into reality, two worlds collide leading too……well only Orca the Goldfish knows the whole truth.
  2.  Silence…. a comedy by Neil Lovegrove                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     A Chartered Electrical Engineer, Father, Husband pet owner by day, and a maker of all sorts when time allows!
  3. Peas…. a comedy by David Tristram                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Online dating agencies are the modern way we can find love, our soul partner.  Will this be a Romeo and Juliet love affair, the start of a lifelong relationship. Or just a brief encounter?
