Little Women – The Musical

11 April @ 7:00 pm - 16 April @ 9:45 pm BST

£10.000 – £15.00

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, the timeless adventures of the March sisters are brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love.

The talented young cast of the Leicester Theatre Group youth theatre bring the classic story of Little Women to the stage in Leicester. Little Women The Musical embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears and a lifting of the spirit.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the stories of the March sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend Professor Bhaer tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.

Produced nationally and internationally, this musical adaptation of Little Women by Allan Knee, Jason Howland and Mindi Dickinson has received critical acclaim for its ambition and stunning music. The powerful score soars with the sounds of personal discovery, heartache and hope – the sounds of a young America finding its voice.
