The Matt Hampson Foundation is hosting its first-ever mass participation cycling event on Saturday 2^nd September 2023.

Inspired by Matt Hampson’s ‘Get Busy Living’ message and organised in support of the Foundation’s work with young people seriously injured through sport, the inaugural Charity Fun Cycle Ride will allow riders to choose between routes of 20, 40 and 75 miles based on the roads surrounding the Get Busy Living Centre at Burrough-on-the-Hill in rural Leicestershire.

The entry fee includes a cycling shirt plus professional event organisation, full signage on three routes, mechanical support, feed stations and chip-timing for all riders, with participants setting off in groups of similar ability.

Car-parking is available at the starting venue at Burrough Court where riders can also enjoy tea or coffee and bacon sandwiches before they set off, and there are refreshments at the finish line at the iconic Get Busy Living Centre where friends and family will welcome everyone home.

Riders are requested to raise sponsorship for the Matt Hampson Foundation which inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport at the Get Busy Living Centre, providing expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, mentoring and advice to help people with life-changing injuries.
