Drivers are being warned of major delays in Leicester this morning as signal failures are causing slow congestion.
The main issue is on Aylestone Road (A426) between the Walnut Street and Granby Halls Junction.
The faults are causing traffic delays for those coming into the city this morning from the south of Leicestershire.
Drivers are urged to find an alternative route.
Leicester Area Traffic Control tweeted at around 9.18am this morning: “Signal Failure Aylestone Road Leicester
“Major delays coming into the city this morning from south of the county. Signal issues between the Walnut St & Granby Halls Jct. has caused very slow congestion back towards #Lutterworth Rd. If possible, find alt. route.”
