Updates as police cordon off petrol station in Leicester

A petrol station in the city has been cordoned off by police this morning.

There are three officers at the scene in Glenfield Road, with police tape preventing vehicles entering the forecourt and signs of some damage to signage and a cash machine.

The Texaco Garage, near to the junction with Woodville Road and Henley Road, is usually open 24 hours.

Officers at the scene would not comment on what had happened.
