The Cow and Plough

Situated on Stoughton Grange Farm in Oadby, The Cow and Plough is a top choice for alfresco drinks and dining. They’ve got plenty of outdoor seating, starting with the beer garden at the front and more going down the side of the venue. This spot also has close access to walking routes going around the green fields of Oadby.
Whether you’re craving a wood-fired pizza, a leisurely afternoon tea, or a bespoke dining affair there is something to satisfy every craving.

The White Horse

The White Horse in Birstall offers a beautiful large beer garden with stunning views and easy access to Watermead Country Park outside. Italian Greyhound

This historic pub in Great Glen, which used to be called the Pug and Greyhound, was taken over and has since became an Italian themed restaurant and pub, with food choices to suit everyone. The old style has been kept to show off the venue’s rich history. It has a large beer garden with no roof for plenty of sunshine, so be sure to bring sunscreen.

The Queen of Bradgate

From the bones of a historic furniture store and a floundering pub, to the heralded gastropub it is today, Queen of Bradgate is one of the most beloved boozers in Leicester. Be sure to get there early, as it can get very busy, especially on the weekends. It offers a unique beer garden at the back of the venue, with umbrellas for those who burn easy and lovely decorations all around.

Wygston’s House

Leicester’s oldest standing house converted into a stunning bar & restaurant. Wygston’s House is now once again a part of Leicester’s great history after opening in 2017. The venue offers one of the largest beer gardens in the city centre, when the sun is out, as they place tables and chairs in front of the pub, covering a large section of Jubilee Square.

The Rutland & Derby

This classic independent pub in Leicester is situated in the old town section of the city centre and offers not one, but two beer garden areas. The Soar Point

One of the prettiest beer gardens in the city, Soar Point is a friendly, local boozer that’s buzzing on sunny summer days. Even though the beer garden may not be as large as others, the fact that its backing onto the canal makes it a special one. Give it a visit and sit on the colourful tables which offer a serene spot to enjoy views over the water.
