Talks, concerts and even medieval banquets have been revealed to take place to mark the 10th anniversary of Richard III’s reinterment. There is set to be something for everyone to mark the occasion.
Leicester Cathedral will be hosting the celebration to mark the 10-year anniversary of the reinternment of King Richard III. The anniversary itself will fall on Saturday (March 22), after King Richard’s body was reinterred at the cathedral in 2015.
That followed the earlier find of Richard’s body under a car park in Leicester. Now, 10 years on from his reburial a series of events are taking place this month, with the first involving a talk scheduled for tonight (Thursday, March 20) at 7pm.

Entitled ‘The Scoliotic Knight: Reconstructing the Real Richard III’, the talk will be an illustrated one held at the cathedral. Aimed at teaching people about Richard’s skills at armoured combat, tickets will cost £6-£8.
Over the weekend, there will be a concert on Saturday (March 22) , with tickets ranging from £12-£15 and a service on Sunday (March 23), which is free for people to attend. The service will include prayers and music dedicated to Richard III.
